Argon to exhibit at CBRN First Response 2014

Written by Steven Pike on 07 Feb 2014

Word leader in CBRN and HazMat training equipment, Argon Electronics will be showcasing its latest simulators at CBRN First Response, 11-12 February 2014 in Leicester. Argon’s depth of expertise in providing advanced equipment to national response teams across the globe will help attendees to fully understand the issues surrounding training and simulation for CBRN/HazMat response – a theme which is key focus of this event.

Amongst the products Argon Electronics will be exhibiting are its sophisticated chemical and radiation detector simulators. Argon’s collection of RADSIM probes, for example, can be used in conjunction with the CANBERRA AN/PDR-77 and RDS100 survey meters and allow effective and professional training to take place with safe, inert substances. In addition, the RADSIM range is fully compatible with Argon’s PlumeSIM®, a field exercise training system that allows realistic training scenarios to be carried out safely and efficiently.

Attendees at the CBRN First Response event will include those from CBRN military and civil response communities. Whilst many will be UK based, other delegates will come from Europe and as far as Brazil, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and USA.

Conference papers given and exhibitors will include, amongst other national and international agencies, Argon’s clients, the Police National CBRN Centre and the Defence CBRN Centre. CBRN Fire Response takes place on 11th & 12th February 2014 at The Mecure Hotel in Leicester.
