Today, Argon Electronics becomes part of Evallic.
Over the past three decades, we have built a world-leading position in CBRNe detection simulation and training, supporting customers across defence, law enforcement, and civil protection organizations worldwide.
Evallic strengthens its mission of rebuilding European defence and resilience while powering the protection of people and society.
Through this acquisition, Evallic completes a uniquely integrated CBRNe platform spanning detection software (Bruhn Newtech), hazard prediction and modelling (Riskaware), and physical detector simulation and training (Argon). While continuing to operate under its established brand, Argon gains access to Evallic’s platform, industrial capabilities and global defence market reach.
“Joining Evallic marks a pivotal milestone for Argon. We have built something world-leading over 30 years, with products trusted by customers in more than 40 countries. With Evallic’s platform, international reach and industrial backing, we have found the ideal environment to expand our product range, accelerate international growth and meet the sharply rising demand for CBRNe preparedness solutions in a more dangerous world,” - Steven Pike, founder of Argon Electronics.
At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Bob Cargill as Chief Executive Officer. With extensive experience across defence, national security, and technology, Bob will lead Argon through its next phase of development.

Cargill brings many years experience in senior executive roles including for QinetiQ, Fujitsu and Microsoft, building and winning large, complex contracts in defence and national security. He has regularly been engaged as a consultant in the defence space helping tech companies large and small understand, develop and grow in this industry. This is underpinned by 25 years in the RAF Regiment, with operational tours in Iraq, Bosnia and Afghanistan, and recognition for both gallant and meritorious service. He continues to serve in the RAF Reserves.
"Argon has built something genuinely differentiated in a market awash with start-ups and large primes — trusted products and long-standing customer relationships in a sector that demands credibility. My focus is to build on that: structured training and evaluation services alongside the hardware, more recurring revenue, and a platform that helps customers demonstrate and sustain CBRN readiness. The threat is real and growing." -Bob Cargill, CEO of Argon Electronics
This combination of commercial and military success matters. Argon doesn't just sell hardware, it sells confidence: the ability of an organisation to demonstrate, credibly and repeatably, that its people are prepared for a CBRN threat they hope will never materialise. That requires someone who has planned for such threats operationally, and who understands the institutional pressures that cause organisations to underinvest in readiness until it is too late.
Together, we look forward to advancing CBRNe training, simulation, and preparedness for customers around the world.
