Argon is set to deliver a paper at the 8th Nordefco ADL conference that will use recent examples to highlight current ‘best practice’ in CBRN response. The conference, which for the first time will bring together personnel across the four Nordic countries (Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway) is set to take place from the 14th-16th May at the Pers Hotel, Gol, Norway.
The paper, which is titled ‘Real Experience Training – Advances in training for the CBRN threat’, will be presented by Argon’s bid and product manager John Saunders, who has been with the company since 2005 and has over 20 years experience within the global CBRN defence industry. The paper examines some of the most recent examples of international best practice undertaken by the military and civil response organisations who have adopted innovative simulation systems for CBRN response training.
The presentation comes after Argon played a vital role in RECCEX 12, the major Nordic CBRN Reconnaissance Exercise, which involved CBRN teams from Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway. Argon delivered over 50 simulators for the event, which looked at bringing together the latest technologies and developing best practice techniques for CBRN response training.
