Master Instrument Set-up
The complete set-up process is replicated to match the real detector.
Correct removal and placement of protective rain caps or covers and alarm testing are registered. The warm-up period can be reduced from the standard duration to conserve time or lengthened to mimic detector malfunction scenarios. A simulation confidence tester enables trainees to practice this important procedure.
The simulator automatically calculates how long the confidence tester is exposed and notifies the instructor of any excessive sample durations or overlooked confidence tests in real time.
Environmentally Friendly, Safe and Efficient
Based upon an industrial specification PDA , the instructor remote control (IRC) lets you simulate a cloud of chemical vapour passing individual or groups of detectors.
With a range of 820 yards (750 meters) line of sight, you can specify type of agent, rate of increase, maximum level, duration, rate of decrease and persistency of simulated chemical attack. Additionally, you can create spurious false readings on individual detectors, and if a greater range is needed, an optional radio repeater system is available.
A powerful library feature enables you to use preplanned scenario, saving valuable time during training.
