Adding to our existing simulation probes for the RDS AN/PDR-83-SIM SIM base unit , Argon Electronics is proud to announce the launch of our new Small Area Beta Gamma Simulation Probe. This innovative simulator probe expands our radiation training capability by enabling the realistic simulation of Beta and Gamma detection—without the need for real radioactive sources.
Responding to our safe simulation radiation sources, it is fully compatible with the RDS AN/PDR-83-SIM SIM system and Argon’s integrated simulation network, including PlumeSIM, allowing instructors to deliver more precise, scenario-based training. 
Other simulation probes in this series include the Alpha/Beta probe SIM and Beta Photon Probe SIM, with additional probes to be launched in the coming months. Used alone or combined, these probes offer exceptional realism, flexibility, and safety for CBRN, HazMat, and radiation safety training programmes.
