Argon Electronics will be demonstrating its superb range of CBRN / HazMat training simulators at I/ITSEC Orlando, Florida (December 2nd–5th) and showing delegates how they enhance both the quality and safety of CBRN training. Among the innovations on show will be PlumeSIM®, Argon’s wide area CBRN / HazMat field exercise and table training software. PlumeSIM® enables instructors to configure simulated chemical and radiological releases, producing virtual dispersal plumes and hot spots that can be set up quickly and safely for trainees to detect.

Along with PlumeSIM®, Argon will also be showcasing a wide range of popular detector simulators, including the EPD-MK2-SIM, a training simulator for the Thermo Scientific EPD-Mk2 dosimeter, which totally replicates the user interface of the real Thermo EPD-Mk2. The M4 JCAD-SIM, M4A1 JCAD-SIM, EPD, AP4C, AN-VDR-2-SIM and many other simulators will also be on show.

“I/ITSEC is the world’s largest modelling, simulation and training conference and thus an ideal venue for us to showcase how our CBRN simulators improve the efficiency of CBRN response training,” says Steven Pike, Managing Director of Argon Electronics. “The whole purpose of the event is to provide the forces in the field with the very best of simulation technologies, and Argon’s equipment is now globally renowned for enabling the organisation and setting up of realistic exercises and training scenarios.”

Visitors to the event will find Argon at booth 1159.
