CBRN training needs to exercise and educate your students. Quite often these days a number of instruments might be used as part of a search or survey. You might for example use a CAM(tm) and an AP2C(tm) for initial assesment, then a Hapsite(tm) to aid confirmation and identification of the substance present.
For a realistic scenario you might wish to represent some live agent, a false positive of the CAM, an IMS based detector, and some sulphur based substance that is not a CW agent that can provide an indication on the AP2C, a flame photometry based detector. The Hapsite would then be used to identify each substance.
Such a scenario is easy to create with our CBRN simulators which are based upon look alike instruments capable of responding to multi substance simulation sources. Each simulator replicates the response characteristics of the genuine detector.
