Military Chemical HAPSIM-P probe
HAPSIM-P simulation probe for use with the HAPSITE GC/MS identification system
Argon Electronics and Inficon have co-operated to develop HAPSIM-P, a training simulator probe for the Inficon HAPSITE. This easy to use simulator probe simply replaces the real sample probe on the HAPSITE thus eliminating any potential to damage the GC by sampling inappropriate substances such as liquids. Use of the simulator probe also reduces consumable use such as NEG pump and carrier gas by 100% during training.
The system is supplied complete with electronic simulation hazardous material sources which can be programmed to represent a number of chemical warfare (CW) agents and toxic industrial chemicals (TICs). The simulation sources are 100% compatible with the other hazardous material / CBRN simulation detector instruments Argon Electronics manufactures. This means First Responders and CBRN teams can be trained how to distinguish between CW agents, TICs and false positives using a variety of detection instruments.
The environmentally safe simulation technology enables training to take place in virtually any environment without the need to use any form of chemical simulant. A powerful trainee error reporting facility records all student actions onto the Hapsite hard drive for later review.
The HAPSIM-P system is supplied with:
1 Simulator probe
4 Ultrasound simulation hazardous material sources
1 Set of electromagnetic simulation hazardous material sources
1 VX tube simulator
1 Standard instructor remote
1 User manual
1 System carry case
1 Years parts and labour warranty
